2012 is over, what will 2013 bring?
Don't forget to check your machines to see if
they need service or year wheels. Timedok can service most machines
(Rapidprint or Widmer file date stamp machines) for under $250!
That is about a third of the cost to replacement!

Pay attention to this!

I received a call the other day from a customer for a quote on a Rapidprint ARE, reverse print with an
extended trigger and plates.  I sell a lot of these all over the country so I know my prices are fair.

After careful calculations, I came up with a very fair price for the client.  They said that they would need
to call me back.  A few days went by so I contacted them only to learn that they had found a better price
from another source on the Internet.

I was shocked to learn that the price quoted as specified by the customer was below my cost on just the
machine without the plates, extended trigger etc.

I contacted the vendor to get their take.  They alluded to the fact that there are those out there selling
used equipment as new.

It turned out that this company did indeed sell used equipment as new!  Each machine has a plate on the
back with a serial number.  Each and every machine is catalogued with the vendor.  Including its date of
manufacture and who it was sold to.  The old adage about  "if it is too good to be true" still holds.  If you
have any doubts about your new machine, call me and I will get you the particulars.

While I do offer
refurbished products when I have them, I sell them as such, there will be no question in
your mind when I give you a quote.  When you buy refurbished equipment from me I will stand behind
the equipment.  I have replaced any worn parts with factory OEM parts and tested the machine.  If the
machine is even questionable, I will recycle it rather then sell something that I can not feel comfortable
with.  Refurbished equipment sells for about a third to half the cost of new.

There are many stories floating around regarding Internet scams on unsuspecting people.  There is
something called
Gray Market Electronics selling  which, are products that were not designed to sell in
this country and most probably the manufacturer will not even honor any warranty on that product.

In these economic times there are all kinds of scams around.  As always, if you have a question please
don’t hesitate to call or
write.  I think it is important for you the customer to be informed.
As you search the web looking for "good deals" take care, the hucksters are out there.

If you have a few moments, check out my
hall of shame page.  There are pictures and stories out there
meant both to educate and entertain.
